RFID to Track Files at Destinations
Use desktop USB RFID
detectors automatically track
files to the office of destination, with 10' read range.
Automated enough that
desktop detectors do not require staff to have or
use software; file location updates are automatic.
With an
RFID network connected 'office' antennas with 40'
range can be distributed throughout a facility to
track 'last location detected'. The SmartTraxx
software shows current and prior points of
detection, to deduce direction-of-travel
place at doorways, over work areas, at elevators
and stairwells, at entrance/exits or any choke-point.
Track Files by Inventorying Files-in-Circulation with the
SmartReader
scanner includes drop-down list of all people and
places. Scans all files at a location from up to 20' and in
about 15 – 30 seconds. This
keeps the database up-to-date as files move from
person-to-person or if files are not checked-out and
also FINDS files, similar to a metal detector,
through visual and audible cues.
